As we age, we run the risk of high cholesterol levels, weakening joints and muscles, heart disease and many more. These emotions are normal after one comes down with an illness but you should take the necessary steps and control over the negative emotions. These will only add unnecessary stress on the body. Stress can take its toll on your body, which may lead to another unwanted heart attack, so it is definitely a good idea to take control of it now. After the attack, focus on today instead of dwelling on yesterday and worrying about tomorrow because today is what you have. Walking can help minimize the risk of a heart attack. You can also keep in touch with family members and friends to help make you feel good and contribute to your anti aging therapy.
Support is very important. Family and friends are a great support to have because they are sincerely open to how you feel. Do not keep negative feelings pent up inside you. Express how you feel to those whom you trust. Listen to what they have to say and let them know what it is you need. Keeping your emotions to yourself will only lead to future complications.
Support groups in your area composed of people who are going through the same thing as you are is good to have. They share information and understand what you are experiencing. It is important to find people that you can relate to and share your feelings with to help you go through the ordeal.
Exercise is also a great way to minimize the risk of most diseases, negative emotions and an effective anti aging tool. Negative emotions such as depression, anxiety and despair will only make you prone to worse health problems. Try and do a 180-degree change and take the necessary steps to live healthier and longer by incorporating physical activity into your daily anti aging program.
